How's this for a trail run?
Aiming to beat the current record of 2 days, 21 hours, and 21 minutes and setting out one hundred years after Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen first reached the south pole, the team, sponsored by Thompson Reuters Eikon will attempt their record breaking run in what can only be described as one of the most bad ass Toyotas ever. Designed by UK transport design consultancy Ian Nisbett Design Ltd this striking example of engineering is setting out not only with the goal of beating the overland speed record to the south pole but also to promote a new era in faster, safer and more environmentally friendly polar travel.
